I am the chair of Obstetric Anesthesia Subcommittee of the Turkish Society of Anesthesiology and Reanimation since 2016. I am an active member of ESAIC (European Society of Anaesthesiology and Intensive Care) and SOAP (Society of Obstetric Anesthesia and Perinatology). I am the senior deputy of Hospital Visiting Training Accreditation Program (HVTAP) of ESAIC. I am also ESAIC-OLA center host and Online Trainee Assessment Exam Coordinator of the Turkish Society of Anesthesiology and Reanimation.

I am the chair of Ethic Committee of Gazi University Clinical Research. I personally received awards and my trainees have received awards under my mentorship. I have been invited as a speaker or an instructor to many intertonational and international world congresses, meetings or forums.

I am the Associate Editor of Turkish Journal of Medical Sciences and Turkish Journal of Anesthesiology and Reanimation. I have authored or co-authored a number of articles indexed in pubmed/scopus/other indexesand in national peer-reviewed journals.

I am the editor of Obstetric Anesthesia for Co-morbid Conditions published by Springer in 2018. I am also one of the co-editors of Turkish Obstetric Anesthesia Textbook published by Medyay in 2019. Additionally, I wrote a number of chapters on obstetric anesthesia for Turkish Anesthesia Textbooks.

I translated the website www.painfreebirthing.com/turkishindex.htm into Turkish. I am the translation editor of Easy Labor (Camann and Alexander, eds) and Clinical Anesthesia Textbook (Barash, Cullen, Stoelting,Cahalan, Stock, eds).

I have been tutor for problem based learning discussions and for rational pharmacotherapy education in Gazi University, School of Medicine.
